We did this tour 2 weeks ago and it was a sunny warm day in Estes Park. Obviously the higher you climb the colder and more windy it becomes. I would bring several layers of clothes and sunscreen. My husband and I got quite sunburned, especially our face. It's probably a bit warmer by now but I would still be prepared. It's a wonderful experience and your toddler will enjoy seeing the many animals along the way. Have fun!!
We will be driving through RMNP from Grand Lake the previous day, and then staying in Estes Park. Which tour(s) would you recommend if we've already spent a day on trail ridge road?
