Dr. Kate Lohman is a board-certified optometrist who specializes in the diagnosis and management of ocular disease, as well as co-management of postoperative refractive and ocular surgeries. After graduating from the University of Georgia, Dr. Lohman continued her professional training at the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry where she was a member of Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society and graduated with high honors. During her training, Dr. Lohman gained extensive knowledge in managing glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, macular degeneration, and dry eye disease. She also specialized in co-managing LASIK and PRK refractive treatments, as well as cataract surgery and corneal disease.
