韦斯特曼纳埃亚尔，位于冰岛南海岸外的市镇，冰岛语中同名火山群岛则译为韦斯特曼纳群岛，由14个小岛屿组成，总面积约17.3平方公里。 岛上四处岩石裸露，一片荒芜，唯一有居民的是最大之岛屿赫马岛。岛上有韦斯特曼纳埃亚尔镇。1963年－1967年西南部因火山喷发而使小岛叙尔特塞岛突出海面，当时，全群岛覆盖了一层火山灰。 冰岛外海的一座火山岛，也是冰岛的最南端。它是因海面下130米火山爆发而形成，于1963年11月14日突出海面。火山喷发一直持续到1967年6月5日，岛的面积也达到最大值2.7平方公里。之后，由于风和波浪的侵蚀，导致岛逐渐变小，到了2002年，其面积为1.4平方公里。
