The response comes after X's Grok chatbot began spewing antisemitic and pro-Hitler comments earlier this week.
But after the chatbot developed by Elon Musk’s start-up xAI ranted for hours about a second Holocaust and spread conspiracy theories about Jewish people, the company responded by deleting some of the troubling posts and sharing a statement suggesting the chatbot just needed some algorithmic tweaks.
Elon Musk's xAI said Grok's behavior was due to an update that caused it to prioritize engagement, even if posts contained "controversial opinions."
Billionaire Elon Musk announced that Grok, a generative artificial intelligence chatbot, will be available in Tesla vehicles starting next week "at the latest."
