MAD Architects references bamboo leaves for its plans for a sprawling, six-venue arts and cultural centre in Zhejiang Province in southeast China that is spread beneath curving, leaf-shaped roofs.

To give it a natural touch, the roof was covered with dry bamboo leaves and hay. Also, we made handrails out of bamboo. The tree is built at a height of 13ft and it has a room and a verandah.
