Animal rights charity Lady Freethinker filed a lawsuit against YouTube, The New York Times reports. The lawsuit claimed YouTube had failed to keep animal-abuse videos off its platform, per The Times.

On March 26, Lady Freethinker performed simple searches on Facebook's "Watch" video tab and identified 120 staged rescue videos that combined had more than 175 million views.
