Last year, China raised the basic pension payments for retirees by 3 percent from level of the previous year. With an aging population, China has prioritized elderly care.

China has built over 30,000 basic-level smart factories, 1,200 advanced-level and 230 excellence-level smart factories, according to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.
