The Boston Celtics used their first round pick in the 2025 NBA draft, No. 28 overall, on Hugo Gonzalez, a 6'6 wing from Spain who they hope can come in and impact the franchise right away while they wait for superstar Jayson Tatum to recover from his torn Achilles.

After just one summer league game, it's easy to see why the Celtics drafted Hugo González, and he is poised to become a favorite of Joe Mazzulla.
