A man and woman were found dead in Tacoma, and police are investigating the incident as a potential double homicide.

According to a department news release, Tacoma firefighters were dispatched to the 1200 block of St. Paul Avenue, near the Foss Waterway, at about 2:30 p.m. following a report of “an unresponsive male and female.” Reaching the scene, firefighters found a man and a woman, both dead, and alerted police.
