Nikki Toscano and Hagar Ben-Asher are co-directing and executive producing. Toscano also serves as the writer and showrunner.

Amanda Seyfried is a cop searching for answers and missing women in the new Peacock crime thriller 'Long Bright River.'

The Peacock limited series, based on the bestselling thriller by Liz Moore, follows Mickey (Seyfried) a “police officer who patrols a Philadelphia neighborhood hard-hit by the opioid crisis,” per a press release. “When a series of murders begins in the neighborhood, Mickey realizes that her personal history might be related to the case.”
