We all knew 2CP was going away in Quick Play and Competitive, for instance. But, it turns out there was an intriguing tidbit about the fate of 2CP maps in Overwatch 2 in the patch notes.

Blizzard is removing Assault maps Hanamura, Volskaya, and Temple of Anubis from quick play and competitive in Overwatch 2, but developers hope to rework those maps in different form.
