Last Sunday's matchup between Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever and Paige Bueckers and the Dallas Wings drew an average of 2.1 million viewers and hit a peak of 2.5 million viewers, making it the fourth-most watched WNBA game to ever air on ABC.
Clark declined doing the 3-point contest at WNBA All-Star in Phoenix last summer, citing rest and mental health after what was a hectic rookie season. She had never shot off a rack, she said, and didn’t have time to practice ahead of the 2024 All-Star break.
The Dallas Wings are coming off a 102-83 loss to Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever. It was one of the biggest matchups of the season in the WNBA, as fans got their first professional look of Clark playing against Wings rookie sensation Paige Bueckers.
Last time the Connecticut Sun played in Boston, Stephanie White led them to victory. On Tuesday, she returns as coach of the Indiana Fever.
