A liver hemangioma is a benign tumor in your liver. It’s made up of a tangle of blood vessels and is rarely serious and doesn’t turn into liver cancer.

A liver hemangioma doesn’t increase your risk of developing cancer. The tumor is usually small, measuring less than 4 centimeters in diameter. In some cases, however, it can grow much larger.
