Permabond LH050 Anaerobic Pipe Sealant is a general purpose, smooth paste pipe sealant that is used to lock and seal pipes, replace dopes and tapes. It fully cures to a solid plastic at room temperature and works well on most metals, steel, and brass.

Swagelok® SWAK anaerobic pipe thread sealant is a resin containing methacrylic ester with PTFE particles. SWAK has a minimum 24 hour cure time before pressurizing. It can withstand pressure up to 10,000 psig (689 bar) and temperatures -65 to 350 Degrees Fahrenheit (-53 to 176 Degrees Celcius).

These anaerobic pipe thread sealants provide a low-strength bond on stainless steel pipe and fittings without the need for a primer. They cure anaerobically, in the absence of air, and provide a tighter, longer lasting seal compared to non-hardening pipe sealants.
