2014年4月28日 · Since SpO2 reads saturation of blood circulating through the venous system and a BP cuff inflates past both arterial and venous pressure, yes, your SpO2 values will be wrong or non existent while the cuff is inflated. Like Halothane said if you're not doing BPs stacked on top of eachother like q2-3 it's not a huge deal.

2017年12月20日 · My only complaint is that the blood pressure there was extremely uncomfortable even at 40 mm Hg, and it was pretty untolerable around 160 mm Hg for me. I did it on my partner, and she agreed it was super uncomfortable. It's the only time I've ever tried taking a blood pressure in the feet/legs. I've unsuccessfully tried wrists before too.

2013年7月10日 · As far as last resort goes, this is no longer the case a lot of places. MD protocol allows us to tourniquet after direct pressure and two attempts to stop bleeding with conventional dressing. With arterial bleeds we can go straight to the TK after direct pressure.
