HARRISBURG, Pa. (October 18) –The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission (PFBC) announced today that portions of the Crooked Creek Happy Valley Road Access, which provides fishing access to Crooked Creek in Springfield Township, Erie County, have been reopened following a temporary closure.

More public access to Crooked Creek can also be found just downstream on the south side of Happy Valley Road at the property formerly owned by Brad Salisbury, where the PFBC hopes to put in a new parking area in the near future. This property contains the largest pool found within the Crooked Creek watershed.

2023年10月18日 · The PFBC has announced that portions of Crooked Creek Happy Valley Road Access have been reopened to the public following a temporary closure. Areas that have been reopened include the parking lot and access to Crooked Creek located on the Northeast corner of the PFBC property .

According to the PFBC, more areas will be reopened in mid-November, however anglers should continue to avoid all restricted areas until further notice.

Crooked Creek Happy Valley Road Access is temporarily closed until further notice, according to the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission (PFBC) Thursday. It provides fishing access to Crooked Creek in Springfield Township, Erie County. An ongoing Norfolk Southern construction project in the area prompted the closure.

There are two roads that are confusing to folks that are not native to the valley. Those roads would be Back Mountain Road and Front Mountain Road.
