John Henry Holliday (August 14, 1851 [1]: 13 – November 8, 1887), better known as Doc Holliday, was an American dentist, gambler, and gunfighter who was a close friend and associate of lawman Wyatt Earp. Holliday is best known for his role in the events surrounding and his participation in the gunfight at the O.K. Corral in Tombstone, Arizona.

Doc was in Glenwood Springs from May 24, 1887 until his death November 8, 1887. He was known to have been descending into miliary consumption (tuberculosis) during that time. 2015年5月8日 · This is one of two Doc Holliday photos historian have confirmed as of the Tombstone gunfighter. Historians believe it was taken after Holliday graduated from dental school. He’s been depicted in Hollywood films by well-known actors and has been part of Arizona folklore.
