2017年8月10日 · I recently acquired an Iver Johnson Safety Automatic Hammerless Revolver Second Model in .32 S&W short (pictures attached). The serial # under the left grip is B52800. Based upon some research I have done on this gun, I believe this gun was manufactured sometime between 1897 and 1900 but I am unsure of the specific year.

2010年10月12日 · This is a black powder revolver chambered for the Black Powder 38 S&W. The 38S&W and the 38 Special are two different cartridges. The 38 S&W is a shorter and larger in diameter. more importaly, it is much less powerfull. Iver Johnson made good revolvers, but shooting 38 Special through it will blow it up sooner or later and take fingers with it.

2017年7月12日 · You have an 2nd Model Iver Johnson Safety Hammer Automatic Revolver made in 1908. It is the last year of manufacture for the 2nd Model and is considered a black powder frame. Smokeless ammo is not safe to fire in it. These were chambered in .32 S&W.

Was bright plated but so pitted as to be downright ugly and the previous owner was going to dispose of it. i blasted the plating off and blued it. All seems to function correctly. 2024年10月19日 · Your U.S. Revolver Co. revolver was made by Iver Johnson Arms & Cycle Works in Fitchburg MA (River Street, long factory buildings on the right a couple doors before Dairy Queen if you're heading towards Cleghorn). I don't have my copy of the book in front of me but the year should be around 1918. Looks like it might actually be chambered in .38S&W.

2008年2月25日 · I also have a Iver Johnson's Arms & Cycle Works,Fitchburg, Mass. USA., 6 shot revolver which I found in my 95 year old grandma's possesions. I think it is a 32 because the bullets are marked 32. The top of the barrel is stamped 48890 but the bottom of the grip is dated Nov 17 with the last two numbers worn off.
