My favorite ink characteristic is shading rather than sheen. 2023年5月2日 · 11 votes, 15 comments. true. Typical fountain pen inks are water and dye based. The water can evaporate over time but you can usually reconstitute it by gradually adding distilled water & shaking the bottle.

2021年10月22日 · Fountain pen ink is specifically formulated to flow freely along fountain pen feeds using gravity and capillary action to get the ink to the nib tip. Metal nibs do not have a feed usually (at least for pointed pen work) although detachable ink reservoirs are available and used with broad edge nibs.

2020年1月22日 · The pen & ink settings aren't the same as the last version. Not able to change the pen color, pen size, select pencil or highlighter if I open a pdf file in edge & try to write on it. What happened to the choices? Are there settings to change them? Do I have to do a screen shot first? Used to be able to write in real time on an open pdf file.

2016年12月2日 · Platinum Pen DP-1000AN F steel nib (about 1/4 of a Lamy width !) – I love the fineness of this pen but the ink flow at this tiny thinness of line combined with the thickness of platinum carbon ink means it is not a marriage made in heaven but it can work if a bit intermittently but is more prone to clogging & dying.
