I purchased a Quantum Wifi Radar (Q24W) from the Raymarine/FLIR online store. It arrived last week and I tried to install it last night. The hardware all went in relatively easily, no issues, and, I wired it directly to a 12v power source. The problem I'm having is that it won't connect to either one of my Axiom 9 MFD's.

Quantum Wireless Radar T70166. Installed new in July 2017. It seemed to be working fine, however hardly needed to use it except for occasionally having it on to get used to the display. Last summer we were in thick fog, and of course it failed. First it would not turn on. I had to turn the power off and on a couple of times to get it to respond.

2017年5月3日 · The Quantum Wifi radar was reconnected again via Wifi The radar connected without problems and with WPA encryption on the MFD enabled. As i said, my neighbour had the same problem, the above is also applied to his MFD. What I have not checked is wether an iPad will connect with the same encryption settings, when operating the radar.

The Radome has power and establishes a connection just fine, however when attempting to transmit it fails the scanner self test and does not allow continuing or an option to correct, only to shut down the radar.
