2017年7月16日 · Stumbled on this place our last night in Venice - and we will def be returning when we get back...they are actually ranked 41 out of 1200+ restaurants in Venice on TA. And the prices were very moderate - at least when we were there, tho we didn't partake in any wine.

2022年3月7日 · We generally avoid canal side places to eat as they are usually overpriced and under quality. There is an exception. You might want to try Trattoria Da Giorgia ai Greci. It is very close to San Marco and an easy walk to get away from the crowds. A bit pricey, but most places in Venice are, and the food is really great.

If price is no object, hands down it’s the best. Hotel Danielli is excellent and used by Tauck Tours (upscale). 2021年11月27日 · We could walk everywhere in Venice from the hotel (8-10 mins to either Rialto/Frari church/Campo S Polo, 15-20 to St Mark's or Accademia). There is also a vaporetto stop (San Stae) just 50m from the hotel with service all along the Grand Canal, though we never used it as we preferred walking.

2019年4月29日 · In 2003 on the Rick Steves Europe tour we spent 2 nights at Hotel Pensione Guerrato in Venice. In 2013 we visited Venice for 4 days before a cruise and stayed there again. Love the location, but it's a shared bath, and there's no TV, still had a great time. www.pensioneguerrato.it

2023年6月16日 · Have seen multiple raves here about Osteria Mocenigo, and agree wholeheartedly. Ours was a lunch experience, and it the place was packed with local workers and other groups speaking Italian - several of whom seemed familiar to the proprietors. It was easy to see why those who live or work in Venice would eat there. Enjoy Italy!!

The best option in Venice is to find a "bacaro" (plural: bacari) which is a typical Venetian 'working class' osteria where they serve wine and food for very reasonable prices. That's where Venetian workers go. Nothing fancy, so don't expect to find any of these in Conde Nast magazine.
