We followed the path back to walk alongside the water and were able to get a good perspective of the impressive Vyne building. The walled garden was quite disappointing, early in the year I know but it compared unfavourably with the impressive walled garden at Oakley Hall.

These would have likely been the focus of the 17th-century garden and are thought to have been two of the first garden buildings in the country.
