The LW30mm M788 TP is a low-cost training round, ballistically matched to the M789 HEDP cartridge. Developed and fielded for Northrop Grumman’s M230 chain gun on the AH-64 Apache helicopter, the ammunition is fully interoperable with the M230 Link Fed (LF) gun system.
