Bright to Omeo to Bright We decided to test the Great Alpine Road from Bright to Omeo and back again during Autumn so we knew what our truck could handle once winter sets in and roads turn icy. The section of road from Bright to Hotham is very steep and windy, but from Omeo to Dinner Plain and then Hotham, it was much easier and gradual, less windy turns and more a gentle ascent.
