We are out with our Havanese dog, Marco, on a long line to observe his organic choices without commands. We see him staying calm and submissive in the face of a barking dog behind a fence, not rushing or barking back. We also find and rescue a baby turtle. After a correction, Marco responds well to a recall, prioritizing us over the distraction.
