A closer look at our summer tulip bulb harvest. This is another look at how we dig tulip bulbs from the field. Bulbs are lifted from the earth two rows per pass by the digging machine. Fine soil is filtered and falls back into the field as the bulbs rise up the machine. The tulips are moved to a separator machine which, as the name implies, separates the remaining dirt clods from like sized bulbs.
