The seventh Guardian Class Patrol Boat built under the Pacific Maritime Security Program was delivered to the Republic of Palau in Henderson, Western Australia on Friday 18 September 2020. The eighth Guardian class Patrol Boat (GPB) built as part of the Pacific Patrol Boat Replacement Project was gifted by the Australian Defence Force to the people of Tonga on Friday 30 October 2020. Head of Maritime Systems Rear Admiral Wendy Malcolm, CSM, RAN, representing the Chief of the Defence Force, General Angus Campbell, accepted the vessel from Austal in an initial handover ceremony before presenting the vessel to Her Royal Highness Princess Lātūfuipeka Tukuʻaho of Tonga, High Commission

Fiji is the sixth Pacific nation to receive a new Guardian-class Patrol Boat (GPB) under the Pacific Maritime Security Program. The GPB was accepted from Austal by the Chief of the Defence Force, General Angus Campbell, before being formally gifted to Fiji on Friday 6 March 2020. The Minister for Defence, Senator the Hon.
