Pakistan’s National Assembly on Wednesday approved the 27th Constitutional Amendment with a two-thirds majority, marking a significant political milestone for the coalition government. The bill passed with 233 votes in favor, while opposition Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) staged a walkout amid loud protests. Four members of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) voted against the amendment.
